In this time of Wall Street Occupations and a national debate about making the rich pay their fair share in taxes, Miami Dade County gave the pink slip to 300 public employees. Now if you ask me this is not the solution to the employment crisis. The rhetoric of "tightening our belts" is ridiculous when in this country the only people told to tighten our belts are working and middle class people. For every new hole we put in our belts, the corporations and the rich loosen theirs. Mayor Carols Giminez seems to be right in line with Pink Slip Rick.
